Short CV

Magdalini Katoufa was born in Athens in September 1990. She studied at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and received her Diploma degree in Mechanical Engineering in October 2014. Her diploma thesis titled “Experimental investigation of combustion processes in a porous burner by means of Schlieren technique and continuous gas analysis” was presented at the 9th National Conference on Fluid Flow Phenomena (Athens, Greece) in December 2014. Since November 2014, she has been working as a research assistant at the laboratory of Heterogeneous Mixtures and Combustion Systems (HMCS) of NTUA. Her work focuses on the kinetic modelling of catalytic methanation processes (in ASPEN software) and the simulation of heat transfer phenomena (in COMSOL Multiphysics).
